Infectious causes of facial rash

Infectious causes of facial rash:

1.       Bacteria infection.
2.       Chickenpox (viral infection).
3.       Fifth disease.
4.       Folliculitis.
5.       Fungal infection of the skin.
6.       Herpes virus infection.
7.       Impetigo (bacterial skin infection).
8.       Measles (viral infection).
9.       Shingles (viral reactivation of chickenpox infection).
Allergic causes of facial rash:
1.       Allergic contact dermatitis, such as allergy or facial ointment.
2.       Atopic dermatitis, viral rash in adults
3.       Drug reaction.
4.       Eczema, including chronic eczema.
5.       Food allergy.
6.       Irritant contact dermatitis, such as sensitivity to perfume.
Autoimmune and inflammatory causes of facial rash:
1.       Acne.
2.       Baby acne (skin inflammation triggered by maternal hormones).
3.       Dandruff (seborrheicdermatitis, which can affect the neck, face and scalp as well).
4.       Rosacea (chronic inflammatory disorder).
5.       Systematic lupus Erythematosus (disorder in which the body attacks its own healthy cells and tissues).
Other causes of facial rash:
1.       Anxiety or stress.
2.       Erythema toxicum (benign, noncancerous skin condition common in newborn babies).
3.       Heat rash.
4.       Methamphetamine abuse.
5.       Milia (tiny white bumps of dead skin cells and other derbis).
Life-threatening causes of facial rash:
Sometimes, facial rash is a result of serious and life-threatening causes, which rather than neglecting them, you have to consult your doctor.
1.       Allergic purpura (an autoimmune bleeding disorder).
2.       Anaphylaxis (a life-threatening allergic reaction).
3.       Erythema multiform (a kind of allergic reaction).
4.       Meningitis (infection or inflammation of the sac around the brain and spinal cord).
5.       Toxic epidermal necrolysis (skin and mucosal loss due to a severe medication reaction).
